Hi all,
My Microsoft Teams is closing when I close the window, this isn't the behaviour that I used to have and the same behaviour on my colleagues's Macbooks. It is a little bit annoying because it is something that I usually do, Command + W to close the window, it shouldn't be the same effect than Command +Q. This issue started last week I think.
Maybe a bug?
Best regards,
Pedro

Yep, I think so! It used to be the same thing here on my Mac. Close the window and the app is still running. It changed last week.

Solution@Pedro Canelas ok, so I realize this is a very old thread, but the problem recently effected a few of us where I work and I did find a solution (perhaps a work around). Right click the application on the task bar, click 'settings', one of the settings has a check box for "On close, keep the application running". In my case, this was already checked and closing the window was still closing the application.
To fix, uncheck the box, close Teams, restart Teams, go back to settings, tick the box again, then close out of settings. You should now be able to close the Teams window and find that the application is still running. Seems the setting just needs to be recommitted after a recent update.
