Teams client won't sign in on Android

Hello

 

Wonder if anyone else has come across this issue? I signed out of my Teams app on my Android phone, when I try to sign back in i get this message now

When I click on sign in, it just gives me this error. No Password is ever asked for (so it isn't me entering the password in wrong) :)

 

I've deleted the app, cleared the phone cache, rebooted phone, reinstalled app still the same...

 

Any ideas?

Ok, I have resolved this now. The problem seemed to be an issue with the Outlook App on my phone. It seemed that there was some corruption with the authentication part was causing cross app issues. Removing the outlook app and reinstalling teams solved this issue. Now to reinstall Outlook

I have having this issue too which I reported here with no response.  I have a Huawei P10

 

I do not have outlook installed, but do have some other office apps installed.  (Authenticator, SharePoint, office 365, and more)

 

Last time this happened (each time I change my windows password) I uninstalled all Microsoft apps, then reinstalled teams, but still I got this error.  I only fixed it when I factory rest my phone and restored from backup. 

 

The built in report a problem feature didn't yield any response from Microsoft and my IT dept dont support BYOD phones.  I don't know who can even help with this!

Found the solutions for me elsewhere. I had to enter a different (non+existing) account and I was brought to the company's SSO page where I could log back in. Hope it works for you too!
