Teams client for windows - real-time stats?

Copper Contributor

As a Teams admin I get questions about users having point-in-time client issues (windows) with Teams calls. I hear things like "the audio was bad during the call this morning" or "I got dropped from a conference call yesterday". I have not found any effective way to troubleshoot one-off issues and one-offs really don't matter unless the issues come back. It would be great if the Teams client offered some sort of connection stat screen or dashboard that offered the real-time metrics that matter. That way the user can monitor them to see if they really have a consistent issue. Or have something to compare against when improvement attempts are made, like driver updating or new audio equipment.

Does anyone else have any ideas for ways to gather single endpoint stats when using Teams client?

Have you had a look at the metrics for those individual calls via the Teams Admin Center -Users?
