Hi Friends,

we have face issues for search functionality in Microsoft Teams

for last 15 days, we face one issue, when we search old conversation(like one week old conversation) then we did not find any conversation

please suggest any solutions.

@miteshsomani Teams Chat retention is managed in the Security & Compliance Admin Center https://protection.office.com/retention.
It sounds like you already have a retention policy set as normally I think the retention is 90 days.

If there is no retention policy then I suggest you create one to keep you channel chat history for the time you want. 

Note that at the moment there is no retention policy available for Teams Private Chat.

we not define any retention policy, we face this issue last few days not before that this kind of issue is there, this kind of issue we face when we able to check 2 days before chat history then its not able search, which is strange. if you have any suggestion then please guide me.
