Teams channel restrictions

Is there a way to make a channel where members can post but not see other members posts? For example, I would like to have members send message of seminars they would like to attend but I don’t want everyone else seeing other peoples seminars.

Hi!

No, all conversations are visible! Sounds like something you can archive with Microsoft forms maybe which you can add to Teams too! If not that you can use 1:1 chat
Add the Microsoft Form to a tab in the channel. Handy for all users. Use Flow to route the Form to correct person.
Hi guys,

This ought to be coming in the future with the integration of Kaizala. Kaizala has something called Hub and Spoke groups where individual members can message an admin but the members do not see each others messages.

Kaizala will be merged into Teams

So Hub and Spoke groups should be part of Teams at some point. Until that time it is a workaround as others have suggested - Forms into a single locked down Team/Channel via Flow would work. I wrote a blog on this once -

Using Kaizala itself may be an option.

Hope that answers your question!

Best, Chris
I wouldn't expect this for a long time thou lol.... if they do manage to move all the functionality in, we are still waiting for Skype Features to be moved to Teams!

Forms is def. your best bet in this situation. I mean, a custom Teams app could probably use some form of a pop up form like Polly does to send data via chat or something but that's a lot of work.
