Teams Calling and Time of Day Restrictions

Steel Contributor

In Cisco UM, it's possible to define "Time of Day" restrictions.  This allows administrators to define different call behavior based on the time of the day. For example, between the hours of 9am and 5pm, calls to users go direct to voice mail. This policy can be applied to numbers coming from "outside". Short of all users adding all other users to the priority contacts, and then toggling DND, can anybody think of a way of reproducing that kind of setup?

Hi,

Currently it is not possible to set any schedule like that. If you want all external calls to go directly do voicemail the best way is like you described, set yourself to DND and add internal users to priority contacts to bypass the DND.

You can request features like this at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/.

Thanks @Linus Cansby I figured that'd be the answer. I was hoping I'd missed something, or that Microsoft had used a different terminology for the same feature.

I dropped a UV yesterday as well as I figured my searching didn't find anything similar.
