Using Teams on Windows and Mac I have no history settings to save the history of calls. For myself I can go back in the history way more than the mentiond 30 days on the internet by some users / admins. But another user isn't able to go back more than 8 days. So that leaves me with questions. Searched all settings in admin and client I would like to know:
- what is the history setting (amount of days) default
- where can you set the number of days for the history (client and/or admin portal )?
- why don't I have any settings about call history in teams macOS client vVersion 23247.720.2421.8365 (23247.720.2421.8365)

SolutionHi @markjorissen,
let me try to answer your questions:
The default retention period for call history in Teams is 30 days. This represents the maximum duration administrators can access users' call history within their organization.
However, call history for "normal" users is visible for a shorter period, that is 10 days.
Presently, there is no option for users or administrators to modify the retention period of call history. This setting is predefined in Teams and cannot be adjusted at this time.
The macOS Teams client, version 23247.720.2421.8365, does not have built-in settings for call history duration adjustment. Microsoft Teams doesn't offer an option to modify the default retention period for call history.

We are in the process of closing a support request with Microsoft on this. Contrary to documentation, it seems to be 100 entries in the call log list rather than 30 days worth of calls. Hope this helps!
