Hello Teams Community,

 

Please i need help on this issue.

 

We are having an issue with our Teams Call getting freeze.

 

Does anyone know how to resolve this problem

TEAMS video freezing at the start of video call - Microsoft Tech Community

 

There is multiple causes for why a video call may freeze

 

- Insufficient bandwidth (Network related)

- Video drivers and not configured or updated

- Multiple video source feeds

- Teams client not updated

 

My recommendation would be to use the Network Assessment Tool

 

Download Microsoft Teams Network Assessment Tool from Official Microsoft Download Center

 

Also Call Analytics. Analyse it to see if there is any network or device issues. If there is you may need to consider upgrading the bandwidth, implementing QoS, or disabling IP video for the user.  If not, check drivers are updated. If not, disassociate any source feeds like OBS, Snapcam and see if that fixes. If that doesn't do a reinstall of the Teams Client and see if that resolves. In the last instance, if none of that fixes then raise a case with Microsoft Support.

Is it only when you join meetings or also P2P calls?
I have seen an issue with bluetooth LE burst scan when joining meetings which tents to freeze the teams client.
