Teams and sharepoint groups limitations

Copper Contributor

Use case:  we have a lot of projects and we want to create 1 team or sharepoint site per project, so we need to create a lot of teams in MS Teams and sharepoint groups. All of this creations must be done by the same user/super user.

Problem: Since exists limitations in number of groups/teams that can have a user, I don't know if I can accomplish the use case.

Iam confused about the official documentation of Teams & groups limitations:

  1. There is a limit of 1000 teams a user can be member of:  https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/limits-specifications-teams > members means permissions as "Member" or just be included in the group, an admin user can be "Owner" of more than 1k teams?.
  2. You can be member of 7000 groups: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/create-groups/office-365-groups?view=o365-world...  > again, this includes admins users that has the role "Owner" for more than 7k groups?
  3. Groups an admin can create: 500k

Does this means that if we have an "Admin user" (don't really know what kind of admin role are included) can create up to 500k groups?. I think that if this admin creates for ex: 10k groups, it will be owner or site admin of 10k groups and thats maybe breakes rules 1 and 2, but don't really know if this is true or I am missunderstanding the official documentation.
