Teams analytics

Copper Contributor

Hi,

I would need access to the analytics that Office provides for Microsoft Teams.

I know that some of the analytics are accessible through channel management directly in Teams but I would need a greater degree of detail regarding for example the posts with more comments\ interactions or the number of posts published by each user (to identify the top contributors).

which report should I download?
which section of the admin panel should I go to?

thank you

The reports available from the Teams admin center are shown below.

The Teams Usage or Teams user activity may be your best place to start. Should that not be what you are looking for, there are some options to gather data from Teams using Power BI as per my blog post on the same - https://www.peterrising.co.uk/blog/microsoft-365-usage-analytics-in-power-bi

Hope some of this helps.

@PeterRising thank you.

are that data related to the overall teams usage?

i need data for 1 specific teams.

thank you

The Teams usage report is probably the closest to what you describe, but I don't think it will give you quite the level of detail you seem to be looking for.
