support for shared channels in power automate for non-host

Iron Contributor

With shared channels, will the non-hosting tenant be able to use power automate flows on the shared sharepoint site, such as "notify when a new file is added to sharepoint" - at the moment this does not seem to work - they get the message "We are unable to find the site address. please try selecting the address from the dropdown." when you put the path in the Site address field.

Hi @technonath

Not supported today. However, you can raise a feedback here https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/ and hopefully with enough votes it will come to the attention of the Teams Engineering team

Hope that answers your question

"hopefully with enough votes it will come to the attention of the Teams Engineering team" - That doesn't really help - especially as there is no section for power automate on that feedback site. I can't see that the Teams Team are going to do much about it. I am fed up of MS half implementing things - it should take a couple of minutes to fix the code in the power automate connector.
Awesome, if you could raise that on https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/ and put the above in the feedback that would be great. Thank you.
