Superscript and Subscript

I currently have to type my message containing superscript and subscript into word and copy paste.  It seems that Teams should have a way to superscript and subscript.

This is indeed not present under the Format option. I am not aware of any other way to do this, except for what you already mentioned, do it in Word and then copy/paste the text into Teams.

you can also use the system program character map, in the 'search' field enter e.g. 'two' or 'three' and select subscript character.

Additionally, you can also use the character map in the system program, select the "search" field and type, for example, "two" or "three," and select the subscript character you want.
