I am using Shifts at Teams App on Desktop. After I click "Export Schedule", nothing happened. I can't find any excel file downloaded to anywhere, including the document file in the relevant Sharepoint site. 

 

Any one know where / how can I find the export file?

@Jamie Starkcan we report a bug with Shifts. When you try and export schedule from Shifts App in the Teams Desktop client, nothing is exported. Nothing actually happens - it doesn't even prompt to save a file. 

 

I think this will need the Team to fix. Had a similar issue a few weeks back with downloading TLS deprecation reports out the trust centre.

Definitely suggest opening up a support case on the issue.  The shifts app & related functionality is managed by another team and the best way to prosecute these issues is to have all the detail in one place from the ticket.  Thanks!!

@conor268  You can use the Help button at the bottom left corner of the screen in Teams to submit bug reports.

Yes, as Kreera says, you can raise it through the desktop client which takes you to the Teams uservoice where you add it with BUG: in the title!

On my machine, I found the exported schedule file in the download folder for Microsoft Edge (Settings, Advanced Settings, Downloads folder)...

 

From the folder, when I sort by "Modified Date", there is an XLSX file (see image) - that file contained my shifts schedule...

By the way - you get the same behaviour from within Teams if you download a file and you are not prompted for a location - chances are, whatever file you downloaded is in the "Downloads" folder for Edge...

Thanks. I tried on Chrome later on and it works.

 

The problem is on the Teams Desktop App. Feel like meaningless to use the App version.

@Calvinkw- Are you using a current version of the app? I tried an export from within the Shifts desktop app and it worked fine, just as @psasante  described: the file is automatically downloaded to your local downloads folder with the name "ScheduleData yyyy-mm-dd to yyyy-mm-dd.xlsx".
