in my company (6000 employees) we are looking into different solutions for a clock in / out, planning and holiday requesting tool. Shifts in Microsoft teams is one of the solutions we are looking into.
I wanted to interchange with professionals already working with shifts as I have several doubts:
is it possible to have a centralized set up for the different channels (teams) and absences?
is it possible for example to attach clock in / out to a certain account (employee). If an employee changes the team all past and future clock ins, plans, requests should be visible. At the moment the set up is that one user can do different clock in / outs in different channels.
what happens with historical data if an employee leaves the company? Will we still have access to that? (in case of audit or legal need)
Those are the first questions and doubts I have but there will be more.
