Set expiration time for recorded meetings

Copper Contributor

I would like to know, if there is a way for the host of a meeting in Teams to set a predefined time (e.g. 3 weeks) for an .mp4 to exist in the chat. Let's say that we conduct a knowledge transfer session, but the data presented is either sensitive or perhaps ephemeral in nature, and although we want those who missed the meeting to digest the information, we also want that reference to be automatically expunged at the discretion of the organizer.

If this feature doesn't exist, can we turn this into an Idea Request?

Hi! There’s no such thing out of the box except retention policies, but they hit all your chats. If you are sharing a file, that is shared from your OneDrive and the sharer can remove it manually. But afaik not more than that.

For user request use this link:
