Remove the Privacy of a Channel

I made a channel  private while collaborating with a colleague but now I wish to remove the private setting so others can access the channel. I've pursued the community but cannot find a solution. I hope someone can tell me how this is accomplished.

The ability to make a private channel a public channel does not exist.

This capability is coming shortly with SphereShield channel management (convert standard to private and private to standard)

Interesting bearing in mind that Microsoft has not disclosed yet their plans about converting private channels into public and viceversa...
