Planner won't load in Teams Mobile App

We have a number of projects set up in Teams, each of which includes a Planner task management portion. The plans were created first, then added to each team (ie. we created teams from existing microsoft groups then inaerted the corresponding plan app within Teams).

We use both the desktop version of Teams as well as the mobile versions of Teams/Planner.

Everything works great in the desktop version of Teams... and also worked until recently in the mobile apps. We updated the mobile apps recently, and now unfortunately the plan doesnt load within the Teams app.

Before the app update, if we clicked on the plam link within teams it automatically opened the planner mobile app to the corresponding plan which was great.

Now when you click the plannlinl in teams we het just a blank screen. I can click the elipses and open in a web browser, but it doesnt work as well as the Planner app.

Our only alternative is to open the Planner app separately which is clunky. We will have a hard time avoiding grumpy team members this way :).

Any thoughts aa to why it worked before but jo longer works following mobile app update?

Best you can do here is to report the problem through the Teams App itself. I can confirm the same behavior so something is wrong with the last update in the Mobile App

We are running into the blank screen too in Teams mobile app.  Desktop & Web versions are working fine.  When Microsoft is going to fix this?

Ran into same problem while trying to demonstrate and get agreement to use teams. Planner was blank but everything else was there. I thought someone had erased it.

 

I was able to open planner on phone app and in web browser but not MS Teams.

 

Ultimately when I returned to my desk, I found that if I signed out of teams and signed back in everything reappeared.

 

Fortunately I was still able to sell my boss on using Teams after that problem.

I am experiencing the very same problem at the moment. Is there an updated way to solve this both in android and iOS versions?

At first, Planner was not working on my Teams App as well. I figured you needed to download the separate Planner app by microsoft and log in using the same credentials you registered with Teams. Once i've downloaded the Planner app and logged in using the same account, i can now open my Planners in Teams. You'd also be asked to choose whether to open via Planner App or Browser when opening it for the first time. Hope this helps!
