When I bring up the dial pad in Teams and search Jane Doe and hover over her name it shows a phone number like 608-788-1234 ext. 1234. That format was her number on our on prem AD. I have since removed the ext. 1234 section and my changes have synced to Azure. However, its been days now and when I look at Jane's contact card in Teams it still shows the ext. 1234. Any idea where this information is stored so I can remove the ext. 1234?
Check if the value is available in the M365 User Profile for you user account. Additionally you can also check if the user have any on-prem LineURI attributes for the Phone Number in the AD Account.
