Org-wide teams refresh logic - updating the membership

Anyone know what the logic for org-wide Teams membership updates is?  Is it triggered anytime AD has a directory change so that it adds or removes user membership?  OR, is it every 24 hours?  Or is it whenever an on-prem AD sync is done?

Anyone know?

@TRobbs I think it's every 4 hours, but will also rely on AD sync from on-premises as it happens in the cloud.

Yea I thought that too but couldn't find anything concrete in official docs. But 4 hours seems off since so many things are 24 hours or more lately. And with all the possible org-wide teams in all tenants, 4 hours just seemed like too often. I guess I could test it. Thanks!
