Opt Out Notifications

Could an opt out setting for notifications be considered, at team or channel level?  When sharing business info in Teams it would be great to ensure everyone was notified by default, with users being able to opt out if desired.

Multiple uservoices open for this including one which is under review where all channels are followed by default and you would unfollow to opt out

Would recommend to vote and push it up the agenda. Microsoft will notify you if they pick it up and start working on it. There are several, as said on the site, so if this doesn't cover exactly what you would like to see, you can raise one and get people to vote on it
