Following the transition over to the Teams Admin centre from Skype it appears that based on our discussions with Microsoft Support that we now have to pay for a call queue to be able to work.
They are advising us that you have to have the Phone System - Virtual User license but also a Domestic call plan.
Aside from the fact that they are still trying to get it working, how can this be the case as we have 15 other call queues/auto attendants that migrated over that do not require this paid for license.
Also the setup of call queues has now gone from in Skype:
To in Teams
Why go from a simple setup in skype to a far more involved and complicated setup process!
Why no communication confirming that Auto Attendants and Call Queues will cost now!
Poor show Microsoft!

@Peter Longley I've not seen any information what you need Domestic call plan to get Call Queues to work, I doubt that is true. Ask Microsoft Support about the technet article with that information.

We have tried telling the support engineer that the site said we only need the Virtual license but it they have since then sent us this article which changed on 12th July in step 4. to say you need to need to Buy a Domestic or International Calling Plan.

They are not fully up to speed on things and didn't really know about this but then having said that even now when following these steps we are unable to save the resource account when we add the service number etc it just says it cannot be saved!
