No Sign of Custom Background Images So Teams Users Look Elsewhere

MVP

Despite many hints that Teams will soon be able to use custom backgrounds in meetings, Microsoft hasn’t shipped the feature yet. Some users are trying out software like Snap Camera, and the experience is highlighting some issues that companies might face if employees use custom filters without guidance.

Hi @Tony Redmond

This is still not released as a feature from Microsoft Team. This is supposed to be released this quarter for Microsoft Teams. Although the announcement has been made around the same.

@Tony Redmond Is there any security risk of using snap camera with teams for custom background?

@kdixit100  Unknown security risks at this time. But there are risks to an organization if someone uses Snap Camera to generate something that is offensive and shares that image with other people. This is why Microsoft has released background images https://office365itpros.com/2020/04/06/teams-meeting-background-image/ with curated images while it creates some administrative features to control if users can upload images.
