Hi all
MS Teams version 1.3.00.21759 (64-bit).
Since few days I hava problem in "MSTeams for free" giving me a message if I start a call or join a meeting: "No device call controls: Exit other calling apps so you can use your device call controls with Teams"
That means: When you mute on the headset (with the button on the headset) the device is muted but not MSTeams itself -> on the microphone icon in MSTeams you can still see the I am unmuted.
The device I am using for calls is: Jabra Evolve2 65. Up to now the control was working propper.
What I tried yo far:
- I closed all other programs - checked with Taskmanager
- PC restart doesn't help either.
- I updated Teams and Jabra to the latest version
- No other devices are paired - switched off all peripherie
Do you have any idea?
I also get the following answer from Jabra support: ""Jabra R&D recently identified the loss of headset call control when using MS Teams. Upon investigation, everything indicates that this is MS Team behavior and that there is unfortunately not much we can do on our part. The problem affects not only Jabra users, but also our competitors."
Can you make any statement about this?
