I see in the What's new in Microsoft Teams devices article for Desk Phones that app version 1449/1.0.94.2022090705 adds a new "Simplified way to share call recording logs and provide feedback when troubleshooting". The screen shot shows a setting called "Enable voice quality recording" and the description below it says "This will attach a recording of the call when you report a problem to Teams".
This doesn't mean it is recording the audio, does it? I'm not a lawyer, but it's my understanding that in many jurisdictions it is illegal to record a call without the express permission of both parties.
This option isn't actually appearing for me on the CCX 500 I use for testing yet, but neither was the new "Enable lightweight calling experience" feature and it just showed up today.
