New Office 365 Profile picture doesn't update/sync in Teams

James updated his profile picture in the office 365 account weeks ago but, the other users still sees his old picture in Teams desktop/web clients. we have tried Teams cache clearing on other user's machines and it seems to work but obviously not the solution/workaround. 

 

Anyone have see this behavior? Is there a ongoing investigation from @microsoft end ?

 

Appreciate any inputs.

Make sure the picture was of correct size.

@Ed Woodrick If that's the case, I reckon it will interrupt the uploading or won't appear at all whereas in my case when other people clears their Teams cache they can see his new pic !

Solution

Apparently, after 10 days the new profile picture appeared to other users. Was just a matter of waiting as it has taken quite sometime for the backend provisioning jobs to complete.
