Muting someone on Microsoft Teams

Copper Contributor

Hello,

I was wondering if Microsoft can give information about who muted someone on a call in Microsoft Teams? Cause my school wants to go to the city hall to get info. about who muted someone. So the question is can they get this kind of info?

As I understand it, that information is not logged, no.

I agree with @Rob Ellis, there is no way to get this information.

I've been asked about this before, both in a thread and private messages from both angry teachers and scared students. If a teacher (or organiser) allows everyone to be a presenter in a meeting it will allow everyone to mute and kick out others. Even if it is not nice to do this to others it is still up to the meeting organiser to set all students to attendees so they can't mute others.
