Hope everyone is well. Please can you someone assist me with the following query. I created a Team for some staff members. Now I know there's one shared calendar but my staff members want to know if there's a possibility to add more? One for leave, training etc. Is this possible? Appreciate any advice.
Well depends if you have all PC users or not :P. If they all are, don't listen to their negativity and make use of SharePoint calendars!
Anyway, you can go to the attached SharePoint site by clicking files tab then "Open in SharePoint", Add a New App, and select calendar, you can name it whatever you want, for example PTO Calendar. You can then click the calendar tab here and sync it with outlook, you can take the URL to the calendar view on the SharePoint page, then add a new tab inside of Teams of "Website" and use that URL from SharePoint but add ?isdlg=1 to the end of the URL, this will render just the calendar and not all the clutter on the screen.
Works pretty good for a make shift calendar solution.
I like giving Adam and Juan a hard time, it's not the greatest solution but it can work. I've been using it for over a year for our team calendars. We use it for entry calendars not for forwarding invites etc. Since no use for that and it won't work anyway so keep in mind it's limited for more of a tracking calendar than a full featured mail enabled one but it can get the job done in a lot of situations.
