MS Teams - Not getting banner notifications for different organization

I am a guest member on a different organization, but i dont get banner notifications on the desktop app.

I have the mobile app version of  teams installed as well, and somehow notifications come through on the app??

Can anyone assist?

Yeah, the experience isn’t very good regarding guest orgs and notifications! They are working on a better one but for now I recommend using different browser profiles , ex in chrome, to be logged in into the org you are a guest in and use the desktop app for your organization!

You only get banner notifications from the current tenant you are logged into. Your best bet is to log in via web and have that other tenant logged in to get the notifications.

Guys, do you have any updates about this? The last update was from 2019, we're in 2021, was this corrected in some way??

Any news on this ? This is crazy how things goes in the wrong side : before it was hard to get notifications from different organizations, and now it's even more complicated than before to switch between organizations (more clicks). Could you make it as simple as Google Chat or Slack pleaaaase !
