MS Teams invite does not display teams backgrounds

Have the latest MS Teams installed. When I click on a Teams invite in an email, Teams app loads but backgrounds other than the motion blur are not displayed neither is the option to add backgrounds.

Are you a business user? It really sounds as if your Teams admin has configured a background policy only allowing blur.
