MS Teams Email Notifications - Send Update

Every time I make a meeting change to add a participant or adjust anything in a meeting, I am automatically prompted to send updates that generate an email to everyone in the group.  Can I turn this mandatory email blast off for minor meeting edits?

AFAIK, no! Although try use Outlook to make the changes! It will ask you to just send the update to the affected users
