MS Teams Call Quality

Copper Contributor

I have an issue where MS Teams call quality seems to drop off when someone on the call has another call scheduled in their calendar at the same time - is this possible or just co-incidence? Seems to happen quite regularly. I was thinking maybe MS Teams was reacting to a change in status - I have also seen that when someone tries to call you and their status is "Focusing" call quality can also be poor. It's almost like the system is fighting against itself. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out with this issue. It's very unlikely that presence or calendar would result in calling impacts. We do have tools to help troubleshoot call quality issues this article has details - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/use-call-analytics-to-troubleshoot-poor-call-quality
