MS Teams agressive disk writes

Copper Contributor

Hi

I have Teams 1.4.00.29469
and I ran into the problem of actively writing to disk.
After 3 hours of work, based on the Task Manager, Teams writed 1,624.9 Mb of data to disk.
All of the activities - there was 1 call for 10 minutes and several small chats, without attached files.
why is there so much writing to disk?

To display a column with recorded data, right-click on the header in Task manager and select an additional column indicating the amount of recorded data. (I have Russian Windows 10, so, my translation of the column name into English is approximate)

Teams performance is ridiculous on many levels, we've had multiple discussion here around it. The good news is that Microsoft will eventually move away from this Electron-based architecture, which should bring significant improvements. Or so one would hope :)
