Microsoft Teams

Copper Contributor

Hello I have a new Microsoft business license.  I am the registered owner for Microsoft Teams.  I have successfully added teams but it wont let me add new members or guests to the teams account.  Every email address I put in is not recognised and it won't let me add.  I have not been able to connect with others.  Could someone please help.  I am training on this platform soon and I need this issues resolved.  It frustrating having to come to a community board for a solution.  I have paid the license fees  - this should be working.

I was getting a better service on my free personal account - where I could add people at least.  Thanks

@PamDonnelly Hi, when you're a business subscriber additional settings and features are available. Did you upgrade your Teams free or how did you acquire the license?

You can start here if you're the individual assigned to manage settings etc.

Hi

I purchased a business license on my business as the personal license didn't provide the functionality I needed.

I am looking to train people on this platform I need to invite guests from a different organisation.  It just won't let me.

I know how to add guest and members as I done this before on my other teams account.  It just seems the business account won't let me register any members or guests but I am create a new team.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pam

@PamDonnelly Are you the one managing your business or the IT administrator? Or both?

You'll need to sign in to the M365 admin portal and Azure portal as described in the attached links to enable guest access.
