Hello teams
Does the Microsoft Teams SIP gateway support older teleconferencing systems like Cisco and Polycom?

SolutionUnfortunately not. The Teams SIP Gateway supports only the devices listed here, which are all standard desk phones: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/sip-gateway-plan#compatible-devices.
Edit: as noted by @itsbrad below, as of March 11 the Poly Trio 8500 and 8800 conference phones have been added to the list, as has the AudioCodes RX50. However, as far as I am aware these are supported for audio only.

@Ryan SteeleIs the setup process the same as the VVX series? can't seems to get the teams sign in button to appear only a button that says "Click to dial"
EDIT I was able to get this process working with the Trio 8800 it just that the button says "click to dial" as opposed to "sign in" and there is no Teams logo. I was successful utilizing provisioning, activiation and a remote login from the teams admin centre.

@IBN You may also be interested in Cloud Video Interop, which allows you to connect third-party meeting room equipment to Teams through a service hosted by a third-party vendor.
