Hello,

Please i need your help on this issue.

Users are being rubber banded back to the root folder level when trying to traverse folder structures in Microsoft Teams Shared Channels.

When you say "rubber banded" back to the root. Are you saying when you navigate away from the root folders, you can't dig down into the folders? Maybe a video to show what is happening?
Can you provide a little bit more details about the issue, maybe add a couple of screen captures for user's experience when navigating the root folder.
Keep in mind, Teams Connect Shared Channels was released in "Preview" mode and you should expect all kind of inconsistence behavior till Microsoft release a more stable version to the public.
