I have two Exchange accounts linked to my Outlook. Outlook crashes if the Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-In is enabled and I click on the Inbox of the 2nd account. Here's the error from Event Viewer:

Open a support case and report this, there's hardly anyone from the Outlook/Teams engineering teams on this boards.

Having the exact same issue.. You can disable it in the com add-ins, but it's only temporary. Permanent fix would be nice.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem?
We are experiencing the exact same thing.

Actually, yes! I cam across a thread on how to disable the integration all together and it's working wonderfully.
You have to use Microsoft Teams Admin Center (O365 admin)
Under "Meetings"
Select the "Global" Policy
Under "Meeting Policies"
Disable "Allow the Outlook add-in"
Just to be sure, I double checked the policy was applied to the user.
Best Luck!

Thanks for replying.
I guess that will solve the problem... but we really need the Teams Add-in, so i will keep looking for a permanent solution, where we can still use the Teams Add-in in Outlook.

Hi,
we have exact the same issue. Did you found a solution without disable the AddIn?
Kind Regards

Afraid not - disabling the add in is not an option for us, so we are still looking for a permanent solution. Let me know if you find one :) @Thomas_Schoepf

Dont know if you are using Forcepoint One Endpoint, but we have uninstalled the client, and so far the Outlook crashes has stopped.

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem and no Forcepoint One Endpoint is installed on my laptop.
So far, I didn't find any solution how to fix this issue related to Teams and Teams' Add On in MS Outlook 2016.
Kind regards,
Martin

I found a solution how to fix this problem by using the following command:
1. Find OUTLOOK.EXE on your drive from CMD console
2. Start from CMD console command "OUTLOOK.EXE /cleanviews"
3. Restart Outlook
It works for me, so I hope that will be helpful also for you.

Martin

C:\Users\****\AppData\Local\Microsoft\TeamsMeetingAddin

it could be also EAF (Export address filtering)
disable this for outlook and it should work.
