Microsoft Teams links were converting to files in post, now it has stopped.

For the past day or so, when I would copy a link URL into a team post or chat, Teams was converting that link into a nice neat file Icon and occasionally even posting a file icon in the files tab. I was very excited about this development as it was incredibly useful and visually pleasing.

And now it is gone. Now when I post a link URL it remains a link URL and I don't know why the functionality showed up or why it went away. But I would love to have it back.

Did anyone else experience this?

@sperryld Yes, this was wonderful feature and it disappeared. The links were not only neat, but hey allowed to directly open files in desktop apps, instead of first opening in Teams, hiding the conversation, and requiring then to be opened in desktop app as a next step (and third step of closing the file in Teams).
Hope it comes back soon.
