Microsoft teams call participant push out of the call at 1hr mark

Copper Contributor

I have organized several conference call with Microsoft Teams and during the calls, participants are push out of the call. This happen when the meeting reach 1 hour. I open a ticket with 0365, unfortunately they told me there is no settings in teams concerning the duration of a meeting. Do you guys have an idea of what might be the cause of that issue?

@rdverna Teams certainly has no time limit, but is there anything else in your network path that might break connections? e.g. firewalls, vpns, etc ?

If you try from a personal machine through home internet I bet it won't drop.

No nothing is blocking it. We check the teams admin center we don't see no error. The users attending those meetings are mainly connected with their cellular phone. They use the bridge # provided by MS teams.

@rdverna maybe your cellular provider has a maximum call duration ?

@Steven Collier We check recently .. unlimited data plan for everybody. Also, the organizer is always the same person and he is always using our company desk phone to make the call. I'm wondering if the bridge number might be the issue?
