Together Mode is a more immersive way to present participants in a Teams meeting. The original theater scene is being augmented with new scenes including boardrooms (suitable for small meetings) and amphitheaters (for large meetings). At the same time, the view used for Teams meeting recordings is changing from 2×2 to 3×3.

New scenes appeared in my Together mode setting today, but there's a note at the bottom that I'm curious about.
What does "this scene will change for everyone" really mean?

@shlipsey It means that anybody who is in your call and using Togther mode will see the scene you select. If a user does not use Together mode, they'll not notice any changes.
The only problem I see is that if multiple people decide to change the scene, you'll have a constantly changing background for the duration of the call.
