Is there a direct way to join an external meeting in Teams from Teams without going through the browser?
I'm seeing that to join an external Teams meeting, it works like this:
- Open up the invite in Teams Calendar.
- Tap the tiny "See more..." link / scroll to the bottom of the calendar invite
- Click the "Click here to join the meeting" hyperlink.
- This opens up a browser page outside of Teams.
- If the link works (depending on device settings / endpoint security settings), the browser then redirects back to Teams to join the meeting.
I'm seeing it is supposed to work like this both on iphone and PC. Is there no direct way to join a Teams meeting in Teams??

Solution
So above isn't quite true for most people. We ended up whitelisting teams.microsoft.com on our endpoint security. Now Teams interprets the link properly and a Join button shows both on PC and iPhone. So if you're not seeing a Join button, you're email service may be interfering.
