Messages appearing on top of old messages

My new messages appear on top of my old messages in teams and I can't seem to find a setting to fix it. I have tried reinstalling but still doesn't work. Can anyone please help me?

Hi, this is a bug and a fix is being worked on by the Teams engineers.
