I have two groups of people. We will call them Finance and Sales.
Finance use Teams w/ Direct Routing. Sales use a different telephony solution. Sales have a shared mailbox. I want to add the sales phone number to the shared mailbox's contact card, and have it searchable in the Teams search function so that Finance can transfer calls to Sales using the search function instead of clicking through the Teams UI to get to their individual contact lists. I also want this information to be centrally managed, ergo I do not want each user to have to create a locally stored contact for the Sales team.
Is it possible to expose a Shared Mailbox object to the Teams search bar function?
Identities are synchronised from an on-premise Active Directory to Azure Active Directory.
