Loud BEEP at the beginning of Teams Voice Calls Where Auto Attendant Routes to a Call Queue

Here is the setup:


1. External caller dials a number that is assigned to an Auto Attendant

2. The attendant is set to automatically route to a Call Queue


The problem is that callers are hearing an obnoxiously loud beep when the Auto Attendant xfers the call to the Call Queue. Is this by design?

Hello Michael,

Yes this is by design. While working with my customer we faced the same issue and Microsoft acknowledge that they are working on the issue to get this resolved but there are no timelines on the same.
