We've just had a Logitech Tap Teams Rooms device installed.
We are logged into it using a Room Resource within Exchange (O365) and using a Meeting Rooms SKU license.
If the Tap is set as the room for a Teams meeting, calls within and outside of our tenancy work fine.
The device can be called directly from users within our tenancy and externally and this works fine.
If the device makes an ad hoc call, calls within our tenancy work fine.
However if the device makes an ad hoc call to an account outside of our tenancy, the call shuts off after a couple of seconds and the end recipient gets no notification. The Teams admin logs show response code 480 for all of these calls. Otherwise the admin console shows it as a healthy device.
Googling the error code hasn't been helpful. Help would be appreciated.

Solution@fairport Hi, is external access (federation) activated in your tenant? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/manage-external-access
Can other users call the same sip address that the room can't call?
480 is Temporary available (or similar).
