we were thinking about buying a license. After Problems with MS teams, we doubt this. Can anyone advise us why we are not able to join our organization?

You seem to be trying to login via a personal MicrosoftID. In order for that to work, you need to be invited as a Guest user. Read here for details: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/guest-access If you have an Office 365 account you want to use instead, make sure you're logged with it first. Using a private browser session would ensure any stored credentials arent being automatically used.
