Live Teams Events external participants

Copper Contributor

Hi everyone,

I am wanting to use Teams for a live event with all attendees joining externally as guests/anonymously. Are there limitations to how many people can join a teams event this way?

I used Skype last week and if people didn't have a Skype account it was limited to 25 guest participants. So I need to know if there is a similar restriction for Teams before i go ahead with it

Thanks

The current limits are listed here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/limits-specifications-teams#teams-live-events

There's no limit specific to the number of external participants afaik.

Hi, up to 10,000 people can join a Teams live event.  They will be viewers only, and can participate in live Q&A.

Check out the following for more information;

Hope this helps. :smile:
