Limit on MS Teams

We know that there is a limit of 1000 teams a user can be member of

But we found a document that you can be member of 7000 groups,

Will the limit on teams also be increase to 7000 shortly?

Haven’t heard anything about this! But you might assume that the limit of 1000 applies to groups connected to a team, then you can be member of more groups that aren’t
