The EdgeMarc 300 is a survivable branch office solution, providing support for integrating analog endpoints and the public switched telephone network (PSTN) and support for all Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) calls. It supports connectivity between analog and SIP devices, enabling branch offices to rapidly migrate analog phones onto SIP-based networks and communicate seamlessly with Ribbon session border controllers.

EdgeMarc 300 Series comes in two versions :

 

  1. EdgeMarc 302 which has 2 FXS, 4 LAN and 1 WAN port
  2. EdgeMarc 304 4 FXS, 4 LAN and 1 WAN port
  3. EdgeMarc 300 Series is a replacement for Tenor AF Series Gateways
  4. The EdgeMarc 302 is field upgradeable to an EdgeMarc 304.
  5. Similar to SBC 1000, SBC 2000 and Tenor interworking, the EM 300 Series supports “SIP Tie-in” for any calls that have a SIP leg to EdgeMarc – So companies does not have to increase the SIP sessions
