Large Meetings- Notifications of People Invited to Meeting in Chat

Brass Contributor

Hello,

Sometimes on large meetings, Teams seems to do this thing where it floods that chat during the beginning of the meeting with "so and so was invited to the meeting" messages. Clutters up the chat. Do others observe this? Why does it do that? is there a setting so that doesn't happen?

Thanks!
Debbie

Try this simple fix. From within a meeting, go to More actions then Meeting options.  Change the radial option where it says Announce when callers join or leave.

Hmmm. I knew about this, but thought it was just 'callers' not with other people joining. Thanks!
