We're looking for a command line to  invoke "teams.exe sip:" with multiple email addresses (Example. Teams.exe Sip:name1@domain.com, name2@domain.com etc...  We currently have a tech support link on all  our desktops that works this was via skype for business - but we find we can't get similar functionality from "Teams"

We have found that The Teams.exe sip:name1@domain.com works - but ONLY with ONE email address.

Is there anyway to invoke teams via the command line to start a IM with a group of users?

Why wouldn't you just use a team, rather than a group chat?

Since we use it as support function (eg. desktop user hits "help" button on desktop), if we use a team - the persistent chat would enable any member (and any user) to see who and what questions are being asked. This could be good or bad dependent on who is asking and what they are asking. The way we have it working now with SFB is the group chat opens with specific tech support people (so 1 to many) so conversation is (semi) private between techs and user . We thought we would be able to modify our existing process by re pointing our "help button" from SFB to Teams.exe  - but it is only working with one individual type IM  - no multiple. If it is possible to keep it the same - We'd like to do that - but if we can't open a group type chat we may have to dedicated team/channel.

This would also be useful for us in starting adhoc group audio/video calls. Is this on any roadmap to be implemented?
